Background

Pickles Mining was formed following the acquisition of Hassalls by Pickles after a partnership spanning many years. Together the companies have valued billions of dollars’ worth of equipment across multiple industry sectors in Australia and throughout Asia Pacific region. Whilst having a strong focus on ‘yellow metal’ assets, the Pickles Mining team has a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in oil and gas sector, onshore and offshore drilling, transport, civil construction, crushing and quarry, and manufacturing industries.

The Pickles Mining team specialises in the valuation and sales of large calibre earthmoving, mining, civil and infrastructure, and pipeline and drilling equipment. Services include valuation advice and managing sales via a variety of channels, including onsite and online auctions, tenders, and private treaty sales.

We have global reach with a track record of sales to buyers around the world including the United Arab Emirates, India, Ireland, West Africa and the US.

Head of Mining, Oil & Gas

Steven leads the mining and Oil & Gas verticals within Pickles. With over 10 years involved in these industries Steven has a wealth of knowledge on process and client (both vendor and buyer) needs. Steven is passionate about the industries he supports and developing strategies around continued growth and development.

Russell Blucher

Business Development Manager - Mining QLD

Russell comes to Pickles Mining with a wealth of knowledge in the central Qld sector with over 20 years’ experience in contract and project management across a range of industries, Russell has a drilling industry and sales background and as a Mackay local born and bred, knows the region intimately.

Dominic Rayner

Business Development Manager - Mining WA

Dominic is the newest member of the Mining team transitioning from the Industrial sector where he held the position of Industrial Division Manager for 5 years. Dominic is an experienced key relationship builder with expertise in sales development, contract management and marketing in the mining/industrial sector. Working in WA for 6 years, Dom has a strong knowledge of the region and is excited at the opportunity of growing the brand in the region.

Jason Fitzgerald

Business Development Manager - Mining NSW

Jason is the key NSW Mining region expert, recently moving from Pickles Branch Manager at Newcastle. Jason has a wealth of knowledge in the NSW region and brings a strong expert background in the auction industry and mining sales across a range of industries to Pickles Mining.

Clinton Taylor

Sales & Accounts Coordinator

Clinton manages the Western Qld Auction facility plus all our Oil & Gas clients in the Western Qld Region. Clinton is process driven and has worked his way through various roles in Pickles commencing in Rockhampton. Clinton is passionate about providing a high level of service as well as bringing a positive awareness internally to First Nations people.
